September Resolutions!: Part II

So it´s time for some charachters :P

September Resolutions! Part I

Here are some of the pieces i´ve beign done trought this month.
So I started my intern as atexture artist ina local company so now I have less time to paint  :C, I have to do work and stay in the university DX damn but at least I have a little job so I think this is the first step for something bigger :).

Traditional Sketches! :D

I really like to sketch traditionally more than digital i fell mi ideas come up faster :)
So here are some sketchesmaybe I´mm gonna take some of them furter :D

Step by Step

 For first time i want to show a step by step :P
this is for my piece Dragon it was based on a sketch I did in my sketchbook so heré are the steps :D



1.- Rough light painted over the sketch, this is just to show me how the light it´s going on :D

 2.- I try to increase the contrast and start to refine the form :D

3.-  More refinement of the charachter and the light. I use to invert my paints to see if there´s any mistake but sometimes I found my compositions is strogest if I flip my image :P

4.- Add color. Using some blending mode in the layer on top I start deciding my colours, after that, I just merge the layer and start to apint over them :)

Well that´s it at the end just add more details andit´s done  :P

First entry of Spetember : Sketches!!!

A little late :P just some sketches to begin the month! :D
I show you just 2 studies one form Kick Ass 2 ( yeah was good but not so good as the first one :P) and a study from 12 Monkeys ( loved  that onea @_@ ) and 2 easy sketches from mind :P.
